Hello September......

our Labor day was.......you guessed it. A LABOR intensive day! So.....we have purchased a building in Hamilton. 5,000 square feet of untapped potential, baby! It was originally a car dealership, and an antique store and now we are going to remodel it and make it a quilt shop. We will also be adding a new business location in the ware house area of the building to house a printing shop (screen printing) and Jake's skate shop.
We had a great time working on it and got a TON done!! We were all really shocked by what we accomplished on Monday! Our to do list was quite amazing!

To DO:
remove the old furnace
remove oil tank
power wash and sweep floor
add decking to connect existing deck to print shop
frame new shop area
scrape wall paper in quilt shop
remove wall in quilt shop
prep quilt shop for paint
windows replaced in quilt shop

......done and done....

So if you have wondered why we've been so busy and crazy around here, that is why. And if you have any quilts you need quilted well then......bring it in. (obviously, wait till we are done with the remodel and open for business) Oh, and we will totally hook you up with all your printing needs too!

AHHHH!! I love family!

My word - you guys sure are hard workers! That's quite an accomplishment! It seems that everyone is happy to help - how do you do that?! My kids pitch serious attitudes when it comes to working!

THAT'S AWESOME! Good for you to take this opportunity and GO! A quilt shop?! So, can I get a job if we were ever to move out there?
