Wild weekend....

I know, it is already Tuesday and I am barely getting around to posting about out weekend.....BUT, let me tell you..... Saturday was chock full of grocery shopping, and not just the run to the store with your little list kind....more like STOCK up and buy everything you might ever need kind. (haha)
We were in the middle of Sam's Club when we got a call that Annie had cut her foot and they thought she needed stitches.....Oh goody. So we ran back home (well, we actually drove 45 minutes, but i am sure you figured that) and sure enough the girl needed stitches. So off to the ER we went. Poor Annie...she was so nervous. She just kept talking and talking to me the whole drive there, trying to stay calm....once we got there she was fine until the Dr came in with the needles. She was like "I don't want a shot.....then she freaked out, started crying and begged me to just go home." She ended up doing fine, once the area was numb. That was actually another story, she had to be 'stuck' four times. The Dr was worried that Annie didn't react to pain medication. Luckily she did, she just needs a lot more than normal people!! :)
Then on Sunday we had our first meeting in our new building, in Gallatin Mo. It is the first ever ward building to go from a phase one to a full phase three. WOW!! The growth out here has been crazy. It is great though, for the area!
Jason has been sick and miserable too...he has had a fever and gunky eyes. I feel so bad for him. He really is miserable. I hate it when kids are sick....especially babies cause they can't really tell you whats wrong.
Anyway, we are on a busy roller coaster over here, of summer activities and gardening....loving it, but trying to keep up with it all!

Oh, no! Poor Annie!! Hoping she heals up fast -- I'm remembering Natalie's foot stitches when she was little and that wasn't a fun time! Give her a hug for us.

How did that happen to Annie? Poor girl. Hope this week is a little bit less stressful for you.

Oh man - Annie's foot looks terrible! The shots are the worst part of getting stitches - sometimes I wonder if it would hurt less just to get the stitches without the shots! Poor Annie - we will send happy thoughts her way!
