Memorial Day

I am so glad Mom was able to talk me into going to our Ward breakfast.....What a fabulous presentation they put on. It was at Adam-Ondi-Ahman. They had the VFW come and explain the meaning of each fold in the flag, as they folded it. They did a 21 gun salute and a bugler played taps. It was beautiful. I am pretty sure that everyone there got chills....anther really neat thing they did was try to honor our ancestors if they were veterans. They mentioned each one by name and it was beautiful. It was amazing the hush that came over that place as we were all gathered there to honor them. What a wonderful thing to be a part of, and a great reminder to be thankful for our Freedom! God Bless America!

I love the midwest. This is a good showing of our convictions I think.
