Seth picked peaches off of our tree!! Yes, you read that right! We actually had a tree that produced peaches!! We are SO excited!! This is the first year so the peaches were pretty small, but we were able to can 5 quarts of peaches....(one jar broke during processing) Jason was very happy because I let him sit in the sink while I washed them....he thought he was pretty lucky, because he had a sink full of orange-red balls......then true happiness hit when he bit into one!! He was hooked! This boy loves peaches and messes and playing in a sink full of water!! What a fun time! We are hoping for a whole lot more peaches next year!!

how fun! What a cutie! and good for you to can a lil. Miss you!! i wish we had peaches. our first house we lived in had a peach tree and I canned the whole tree... like 100 jars!! it was nuts. I had help, but you get all itchy from the fuzz and whew.. you sweat and it's gross. hugs!
PEACHES!?!?! So jealous...oh wow Jen said pretty much the same thing. haha. Jason is ridiculously adorable. I love that boy.Anyways, I miss you too. We need to plan a day to do something... like spend money we shouldn't... :o) Love ya!

ah, my mouth just got all water-y...wanting a yummy peach of my own. Pears, then peaches... my favorite fruits...so jealous. I remember eating peaches out on our porch when I was younger... but I wasn't a purist then, so they were usually swimming in a bowl full of sugar. I miss that stickiness. :) Lovin' your pictures as always.
