I'm dying to know....

So, with all the chaos at Christmas and FIVE kids,I am dying to know how you all deal with it...Okay, first off, how do you organize the whole gift thing for your kids?? Do you have a budget per child, a number of gifts per child, or go 'hog' wild!??!!?
Any special traditions? I have always given Pj's on Christmas Eve....Do you make a big deal about Santa? I have heard the 3 gift idea and the JOY gift idea, which sound good to me, I am just wondering what real people I know do!!!
Anyway, I am just dying to know how you and your family does this whole Christmas thing....Go ahead, spill your beans!

I always break up right before the holidays so there's no gift expectation, then about feb 15th I'll get back together with a girl. Works out alright.

i'm wondering how my friends with big families do it, too. it's crazy enough with just 2 kids!

were still trying to figure it out! Erinn decided that he wants to let the kids open a gift on Christmas eve, but not pjs, and with only three gifts per kid I am left with today thinking what the heck are they going to open??? I guess we need more presents...(he told me this last night!) aaaaaaaaaaaaa

It's been hard because now we're buying for 11 instead of 5 -- but honestly, I wouldn't change it for the world. I love Christmas with the family. Tons of money sure, but I have learned that eventually it all gets paid for. (great attitude, right?!)

We have always done the pj's on Christmas eve also. I love that they wake up, or maybe it's get up... it doesn't seem like they even slept... anywho.. all clean and cute sporting their new pj's. I think it makes for much nicer pics... he he he... We have always tried to spend about the same on all three. Except when the littlest was tiny... what do they care? It gets kinda crazy!

we do it a little differently each year, to tell you the truth. This year, we are only doing stalkings, because we're spending our Christmas budget going to Wisconsin, and going to The Dells (an AWESOME indoor water park). I talked to the kids about it, and they're cool with it. Last year, the older kids asked if we could have a family gift exchange just for our family. I said, why not? And it was a total hit. I gave each person a budget, and let them pick out whatever they thought would be a good gift (with only a few suggestions from me). They were MUCH more excited about what they were giving than what they were getting. I thought, "man, I'm totally missing the boat with this holiday!" We did it again this year. I'm thinking I'm gonna make it a tradition
