Caleb and Erin
May 17, 2008 They were married in the Temple for Time and all Eternity. What a beautiful day it was. We were so happy to be there for them and be a part of their special day. Congratulations, you two!
First things first. The group shots...
The Simpson's and Galbraith's.....look at this group. And we were only missing Jarom and his family, and the Simpson's were missing a brother and his wife......crazy, huh!??!!?
This is the Galbraith Clan......
Caleb, Erin, and their parents.....
The 'line'.....aren't they a good looking bunch?!?!

Anyway, the kids are SO excited!! (mostly about staying in a Hotel, with a swimming pool)
I will post some pictures of the happy couple, when I get time!! I have so much to get done....yikes.
Have a great weekend.

SO.....
I was taking some cute shots of Jason eating when I look out the window to see Ella walking around holding the bat like this....It reminded me of those baseball/football cards they did of Bo Jackson....remember?! The 'Bo knows Baseball' ones. hahahah! Anyway, that is just a random thought on my part. Does she look homeless to you? Cause she isn't, and she gets bathed regularly too. I swear. Wow,I am really shining today! :) You know you are jealous of my 'mother' skills. (and my nun-chuck skills..) Ya, too far. I know.
hmmm..
I just realized that I 'outed' myself as the best cook/healthy food Mom, EVER!
Let me just say, I actually cooked for Seth and I...the kids said they didn't want barbecue chicken and vegetables....I know, lame, huh!??! SO that is why I ended up making mac and cheese. Don't hate....I am doing my best here, alright! :)

Getting down to buisness....
Pretty much Jason takes eating very seriously!! Tonight (last night, actually) Jason had his first taste of 'real' food. He was in Heaven! He looked at me and smiled so huge, as if to tell me I was the best Mom ever for giving him what he has ALWAYS wanted! hee hee!! His face was the best, he really concentrated on getting his food in his mouth.
Jason was happy the rest of the night. Honestly, I think his biggest thing was that he got to eat right next to his 'kids' and eat what they were eating!! Such a sweet boy!!

Jared rides his bike....
While I was gone taking senior pictures, Seth took off Jared's training wheels! When I got home he was so excited to show me and ASKED me to take his picture! I love the concentration in his face!! (so funny) He was sure proud of himself and glad he could ride wherever Annie went!! This will be a fun summer for him!

a good day...
Happy Mothers Day. Mom, I love you with all my heart. I appreciate you for everything you are and everything you have worked so hard to teach us. You are a good person to the core and such an example of unconditional love and forgiveness. Thank you.

for real?!
look at how proud of himself he is. i can not believe that he is already pulling himself up to stuff! he doesn't even 'real' crawl yet! he does do a 'mean' army crawl though. (fast) sigh.....i know, i know. it is bound to happen. that whole 'grow up' thing....i just want him to stay a baby forever. :)

Class of 2020
Sweet little Katelyn graduated from Kindergarten tonight. I can not believe that she is already even old enough to be in school, let alone done with kindergarten! Time is a funny thing. She is so happy and proud of herself. Way to go Katie! So crazy to think that in 2020, she will be graduating high school! (the way time has been going, it will be here before i know it!) I love you Katie!
*on a little side note, Katelyn tried out for a part in a play the community is putting on. she was so brave, and i am so proud of her. i will let you know if she got a part! :)
make a wish.....
we had a lovely evening, monday night....seth started planting the garden and I mowed the lawn....and ella has a fascination with dandelions. it really is quite sweet. i have received several bouquets from her already. after i finished mowing, i got my camera out and went to see the progress they were making. ella ran over to me with this huge bouquet for me, and i was able to explain to her about making a wish....well she fell in love with the idea and has been making wishes ever since!! it is such a joy to have those quiet moments where you can live life through your child's eyes. innocent, sweet and completely enamored with new things.
sometimes the weight of the world gets so heavy for me as an adult, and i long for the carefree childhood i so enjoyed. i just hope moments like these are enough to remind me not to take everything so seriously. and i hope my kids STOP growing up so fast, and take time to enjoy where they are!
and yes....ella is back into 'swim suit' mode! HELP!!!
