Ella decided it would be a good idea to give herself a make-over while Mom was busy blogging!!
She went ALL out, too! Mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick, and nail polish! *sigh* All I can do is smile, take a picture and go on!! Isn't it great to be three!?!??!

I was reading Natalie's blog, and totally cracked up about what she had in her purse! She challenged us to show her our stuff, so here goes!!!
My purse is small, but it is so full of junk! It has been bugging me so Natalie gave me a good excuse....
I've got 2 Famous Dave's barbecue wipes (what the??), receipts out the WA-zoo, lip gloss, cell phone, 3 hair ties, band aids,2 kids flossers(for those moments...you know.), tithing slips,scissors,stamps,business cards,2 checkbooks,toothpaste,pass along cards,tums....Really, just a lot of unnecessary things!! Thanks Nat for inspiring me to clean out the old purse. I think I need a new one for fall, come to think of it....LET'S GO SHOPPING!!!

So we had strawberry shortcake for Ella last night. She was VERY excited. She LOVES strawberries... Jared was trying to teach her to hold three fingers up...it was quite comical. She finally got it! Yay, Ella! Oh, and yes...that is mac and cheese on her face. That's just how we rollin' over here!:)

Tuesday was Annie and Katie's first dance class. They are both really excited about it. They are taking two classes back to back, so they will be there almost two hours. Ella of course had to dress up, and pretend she was going to! I would have her in a class if they had one for her age on the same day....but I am not going to drive to Gallatin 3 times a week!:)

After the "tuning" up, Jared got his turn to ride. Jared fit a lot better on it, I think! Seth had to give him a quick refresher and he was off!! Jared LOVES riding and had a blast! Dad's really are the best...

Our Labor Day

 

 

 

Seth decided he would tune up the four wheeler, so the kids could ride it! I died laughing as he rode ALL over the yard...doing tricks. I wish I was kidding...he is such a show off!! The kids think he is pretty much the most amazing Dad EVER! That is good, considering I still think that about my own Dad! It's a good thing, right!?

Ella is three today! I can't believe three years have gone by so fast! I am not going to lie, when she was born I was so exhausted I wasn't sure I'd be able to handle four kids!!:) Now, though as she has gotten older I have been so overwhelmingly sad at how each stage seemed to pass so quickly. Ella has brought us so much joy and makes us laugh at the silliest things. We are so in love with Ella. We are glad she is a part of our family, and look forward to a hundred more birthdays with her!! We are so glad that the baby stages will last a little longer in our home, with our new arrival, coming sometime this month! I know she will be an amazing big sister...she all ready talks about "Baby Jason" all the time!

Sam and Noah brought their skate boards, and Annie just loved "skating" around. Katie and Ella were just being goof balls, and Jared and Noah were the FIRE BUGS!! We can't keep those two out of a fire, no matter where we are!! Such fun!! Can't wait to go again!

 

 

 

Camping, camping, camping!!

 
 
 
 
We all (as in..My Mom and Dad, and the Earnheart's) decided to go camping this weekend for Sam's birthday! (my nephew, Natalie's oldest..he is 11!!)
Anyway, earlier in the morning Natalie and I went to find a perfect spot. We had quite an adventure. It including getting majorly car sick, Ella barfed in her car, walking into an enormous spider web to get into the bathrooms, and A LOT of "that's what he/she said" jokes!:)
Anyway, we found two perfect sites right by each other, and came back Friday evening!! It was WONDERFUL!! The weather was perfect. The kids played and played. Grama brought them all a swimming noodle....they used them for "ninja" fighting! We even played a rousing game of red rover, and duck duck goose!! We even got a few extra kids from another camp site to play! We made S'mores as it got dark... And surprisingly the kids all slept pretty good!
In the morning Seth cooked bacon and fried potatoes over the fire, and Natalie made eggs and sausage! It was an awesome camping breakfast. Then we cleaned everything up and went swimming! It was a really fun weekend! Yay, for camping, and Yay for fun Family adventures!!
